About the role:

As an ML Engineer at Hemnet, you will be a key part of our Data & ML Platform team, working alongside skilled engineers to develop, deploy, and maintain Machine Learning models that power our products. You will play a vital role in enhancing user experiences by leveraging your expertise in ML, collaborating closely with Product Development, and ensuring high-quality, scalable ML solutions for our systems.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with Product Development teams to deliver ML-enhanced use cases and product features. 

• Take ownership of the entire ML model lifecycle, from experimentation and training to deployment, monitoring, and re-training.

• Design and develop ML models for large-scale, publicly available systems with high demands on performance, availability, and frequent updates.

• Contribute to the improvement of MLOps processes and work on infrastructure that supports robust model deployment.
  

• Coding background with proficiency in Python.

• Experience in developing ML models for products deployed in high traffic systems, preferably with a similar tech stack as ours - BigQuery, GCP and Vertex AI. 

• Used to working with PR-based workflows or similar, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML features into products. 

Bonus skills (meritorious):

We value experience from other roles, such as Software or Data Engineer, or Data Scientist, preferably in a mid-sized tech company. If you have experience from the property industry as well, we consider that an extra plus. Also, we’d be happy if you have experience in using AWS and IaC (Terraform) that we use today, as well as LLMs/NLP, RAG, and vector databases, that we are exploring.
