FAQ

  • Fill in this form where you can choose what kind of laptop and phone you want. Please do this as soon as possible so we have time to order your equipment.

    We’re a Macbook-heavy workplace, but of course there is the option to run Windows/Linux.

    Our standard package is Macbook Pro or Macbook Air with some upgrades, depending on your role. If you choose to run Windows/Linux we offer a Lenovo with the corresponding configuration.
    If you prefer to use a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse / Trackpad we have that in the office to borrow.

    When it comes to a phone we have a couple of options that you can choose from. If you have a phone that you’re happy with you can keep it and let us know later when/if you want one from Hemnet.

    Our phone operator is Telenor and the default is that you get a new number from us. If you want to bring in your number, thats ok too! It can only be done as long as there’s no binding time with another operator.

  • You will meet up with your manager and your team at the office on your first day. You will also get your computer and phone from IT and meet your colleagues. 

  • No dresscode, feel free to be yourself and wear what you feel comfortable in

  • You will have lunch together with your team on your first day

  • Your manager will reach out to you to let you know what time you are expected to arrive. But it is usually around 9AM.

  • You can reach the office from several entrances! 
    1. Mäster Samuelsgatan 42, just go straight forward and you'll find us.
    2. Sergelgatan 20, then you take the escalator up one floor and go through the doors to the left.
    3. Sveavägen 9, take the escalator up one floor and go through the doors to the left.

  • Your manager will plan the first weeks for you to make sure you meet with the people you need to get started in your new role!
    You will receive all the onboarding documents you need to get access to the right systems. 
    Within your first 6 months, you will be invited to a introday filled with everything you need to know as a newbie at Hemnet!
