About the role 🍏
We’ve launched a small, high-speed AI Enablement team at Hemnet and are looking for a Fullstack Engineer ready to build what’s next.

We’re not looking for a “prompt engineer.” We’re looking for a strong fullstack engineer with a genuine interest in AI and how it can be applied in real products.

You’re comfortable working across the stack, from TypeScript/Next.js on the frontend to backend development in Ruby, Go, or Python. You stay current with the ecosystem and have likely built or experimented with LLM-powered tools yourself.

What you’ll do 💥

• Design and build AI-powered capabilities, prototypes, and POCs that enhance internal workflows and enable new product features, often in collaboration with other teams.

• Explore and implement agentic systems, MCP integrations, and other automation frameworks to extend Hemnet’s AI capabilities.

• Collaborate across engineering, product, and other departments to turn promising ideas into production-ready solutions.

• Integrate and evaluate AI APIs, open-source models, and internal data systems.

• Contribute to best practices, share learnings, and help Hemnet evolve its AI capabilities.

• Since this team is brand new, you’ll be shaping the role and team. You’ll help us decide which models are hype, which frameworks actually work, and how we build AI at Hemnet without losing our way.

Hi, I’m Andreas and I lead the Enabler domain at Hemnet, which includes, besides this new AI enablement team, the Platform and Data/ML. My background spans engineering and product leadership in different types of organizations, and earlier in my career I worked hands-on with building products.
